Medical Abortion
Medical abortion involves taking an abortion pill to medically end your pregnancy. You will receive the first tablet during your clinic consultation. Two days later, four additional tablets will be injected at your house. That day will see the release of the amniotic sac, which will signal the end of the pregnancy. The day in question must be spent at home because leaving the house would trigger cramps and blood loss.
Surgical Abortion
Most in-clinic procedures take about 5 to 10 minutes, whereas medical abortions might take up to 48 hours to complete. You will have access to trained staff, certified nurses, and licensed doctors during the treatment, which is performed in a licensed facility. For pregnancies up to 23 weeks and 6 days, we provide surgical abortions. Depending on your medical history and how many weeks along you are in your pregnancy, we will recommend a certain surgical abortion treatment.
